This weekend I managed to get Reed's sweater finished. I tried it on him on Saturday and it fits,
as long as I roll up the sleeves a little. He is growing like a weed.
as long as I roll up the sleeves a little. He is growing like a weed.I am thrilled to share that Miss Madison finished 3rd in her ice skating competition this past weekend. She just turned 8 years old 12/30 and this is her first competition of the year! I am so very proud of her. She was so excited she wanted to Facetime (video chat) immediately after the competition. Yes, that is the skating costume I made for her last fall....she looks so beautiful.

I took another drastic step this weekend. I cut 6 inches off the length of my hair...now it is just above my shoulder...has not been this short in about 10 years...so far still sitting on the fence if I like it or not!

YOu did a fabulous job on both, the sweater and skating outfit.
I cut my hair too.....
Exciting times for you Debi! The sweater is just darling and will be treasured long after it is outgrown! Love the skating outfit and what a cute picture...so proud!
I just recently cut about 6 inches off the length of my hair too and love how easy it is to care for!

The sweater looks really nice. Congratulations to your granddaughter on her excellent finish in that competition! I'm sure your hair looks very nice. It just takes us time to get used to something that is so different.
Congratulations to Madison on her amazing finish. I love her costume and I'm sure Reed will be quite dapper in his new sweater.
6 inches is a lot of hair to cut off but if you decide you don't like it...you know what they say, it will grow back.
Hope you have a great week.
Madison did so good----kudos to her! Reed's sweater is so cute---just what he needs on these gloomy, chilly days. Can't wait to see your new hairdo--quite a change, bet it looks very nice.
